Unfortunately I sent it back because I bought the wrong size. Summer is short where I live so I promised to buy another one next year because it's so cute. I can't talk about comfort or flotation. I can say that the device is quite thin. Definitely will buy again because why wouldn't I want my dog to look like a shark?

UPDATE: Worn less than a month, only used 3 times and rips off the top of the handle. The dog only weighs 20 pounds and has just been used on the beach. I do not recommend. It's cute and the pup gets lots of compliments and smiles but doesn't seem to offer any real lift. He doesn't stay afloat. I'll find one with something under its neck and play with it on the beach.

super cute! I have my dog, a shark. She absolutely hates it but I love it. She hates water in general so I got this tone for her tone herself instead of climbing on my shoulders. The only thing is that she can move her whole arm towards the neck piece no matter how tight we pull the vest, so it can be dangerous if you don't watch your pup because he'll start rolling more to the side, ha-ha . All in all, while it's comfortable, it WORKS and it's amazing!

This life jacket is just great. My cat, Paige, has a neurological condition called cerebellar hypoplasia that makes her wobble, so we used to do a lot of water therapy with her as a kid. Because of this she loves the water and I wanted to teach her how to swim. I got her this life jacket and it fits her PERFECTLY. We just had our first swimming lesson and she did great. This vest kept her afloat and she was an excellent swimmer and even rowed a little. money well spent.

Our GSD is 85-90 pounds of fluffy long hair. The big one suits her perfectly. If it continues to rise, we will have problems. He hugs her well, doesn't bully or interfere.
