It seemed cheap to me, but not to my cat. She doesn't care, she loves it more than the expensive beds I made for her. That's all that matters to me. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

So my cats are the same as all other cats. You buy them a bed and they use a box. I roll my eyes. But I bought one of these beds and yes they are flat and a bit flimsy but once I installed them kitty after kitty wanted to use it. They used it so many times that I bought a second one. Over the past few years I have purchased this item (from this listing) in Rust, Ivory and now Gray and am surprised at the lack of consistent quality. Four stars anyway because my cats love these dens, but the ivory is much thicker and plush than the gray I just got which feels very thin and almost like cheap felt. The ivory also held up better than the rusted one, which split open at the seams exposing the inner foam. If I had had input into the redesign, I would have made the bottom part out…
