Positive: Door frame is strong Thick doors seals are tight and windproof Negative: The magnet comes off easily if your dog should paw on the door. This makes printing less efficient. The magnet is attached to the bottom of the valve with a piece of plastic that is much thicker than the valve.

I've had at least half a dozen other dog doors. This one is definitely the best! Yes, I spent a lot more money on it, but it's absolutely worth every penny considering how energy efficient it is. The only downside is the noise it makes but my dog gets through at about 35km/h! Scares me to death every time!

We got our first Endura door 10 years ago for 3 large dogs. Still good but we bought a second home so we needed a second Endura door. Our dogs weigh 50-80 pounds. They take a big energetic shot because they are playful and think their door is a toy. What else needs to be said. I want the guards to match the frames. It would look way better! The protective case is very strong for good security. Our 10 year old case still snaps perfectly into place every night!

So this is an expensive dog door (2 large sizes) as it costs more than our large door. We installed a 36" x 80" featherweight door at the same time as a large dog door. We could probably get by with just one opening dog door, but we have cats inside which I wanted to make sure they didn't get out. We installed it about a month ago and the cats are yet to get out the door. I don't assume they can get out through this door as it takes some effort to open it. Having used this pet door for almost two years I have a few complaints. The main thing is that it lets water through. Not in the house - in the door. No matter how many times I try to seal it with silicone, the inside of the pet door leaks.
