Defective item

Item rattled inside when I took it out of the box. That does not work. I will return it and buy another brand. The product arrived defective.

didn't work when trying to charge my MacBook Pro

Overall it's a great product but I couldn't charge my MacBook Pro with it. I ended up leaving it as I had no problem charging smaller electronics.

It overheats and smells burnt! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Inverter overheats and smells like burnt electronics even when idle (nothing plugged in) or plugged into a 10 watt DC adapter with nothing plugged in. The fan is very loud.

Broke after a few uses

We ordered this inverter for use in our RV and truck. We only used it 3 or 4 times when I heard a pop and then smelled a burning smell. He was dead. We couldn't return it as we had it for 30 days when we got back from the hike. I do not recommend.

Not as powerful as I thought but still good

I don't blame the device for the lack of research, but FYI it can't deliver enough power to air an Aerobed airbed to hunt. I got Watts and Amps mixed up. On the plus side, the protection circuitry protected my machine from too much mattress power and a blown fuse.

Clear signal wave = no more hum

Electronics work perfectly, no annoying hum. The fan is also off most of the time and only turns on when it gets very hot. I'm powering a laptop (30W consumption) and a 24" LED screen (15W consumption) from a small off-grid solar array and it runs silently. I heard the fan turn on several times as it was a hot day. The only annoying thing is that the retail box is difficult to open. There's also no on/off switch, which probably keeps costs down, but you'll want to turn it off when not in use to

Good car inverter.

I bought this small inverter mainly to run my hot logic in the car. I have a job that involves quite a bit of travel and I hate eating fast food or food from a cafeteria that happens to be local. Hot logic draws about 100 watts when heated, so this is pretty close to the upper limit of what the inverter is rated for. So far I've had no problem running hot logic while traveling. My lunch was always warm when I was ready to eat it and I didn't see any alarms. I can't confirm the purity of theโ€ฆ
