Too high & too short

The price of the blank cover was way too much. Adding insult to this, the 2 screws were way too short. I do NOT recommend this product!

Nice brass plating, but steel underneath.

I was somehow under the impression that these were solid brass, I should have done my homework. However, my CNC still managed to engrave my design pretty good, prolly a little harder on the carbide bit than brass would have been, but the end result was OK.

  • The wall plate may not be suitable for outdoor use or in areas with high moisture or humidity

Blank Plate is drilled incorrectly and will not fit an empty box

This is a pretty simple one. Blank plates typically go on boxes where a device like an outlet, switch, etc aren't mounted in them (The whole point of a blank plate). These plate are drilled as if it is going to mount to a device, and not an empty box so literally contradicts itself since it can't fulfill it's intended function at all.Unless they fix it, find something else.

Is not worth the price

Is not worth the price. Looks really cheap, Home depot carry an identical item for 1/5 of the price of this one Thanks for attention.

To be used for a magnetic surface for another project and not as a wall plate. It was exactly as described and came in a plastic sleeve to prevent any scratching.

Fits perfectly: my feedback

I had an old telephone wire outlet that stuck out like a sore thumb in my kitchen. I replaced it with this beautiful and easy to install cover. It fit perfectly. The only thing I had to do was use screws a little longer than what it came with but that’s okay

  • I needed to cover up an old floor phone outlet, and this did the trick. I ended up buying two of them.

  • The edges of the wall plate may be sharp or uncomfortable, potentially causing injury

Very shiny metal good for me

It is a durable plate, however the metal is a very shiny metal which isn’t exactly like the other switch plates I got that are more of a matte metal.

  • A bit pricey, but heavy duty (I use it on a floor) and quite attractive.

  • The wall plate may not match the aesthetic of certain decor styles or color schemes

WALL DEVICE COVER EASY TO INSTALL AND LOOKS GREAT.

This is a metal standard electrical outlet size device cover. I got the stainless steel version which was a quality steel gauge so thick enough. The screw holes mate up to the edges of the standard electrical outlet box for ease of installation. These are more fire resistant than the typical plastic versions. Great for use in my old home in places with old busted paint caked cable outlet boxes need covering over. WIFI and LAN cables have made my old cable box connectors dinosaurs of a bygone…

NOT BRASS as advertised, magnets don't stick to brass.

This plate and the others we wasted out time and money buying from this seller are plated. They are not brass. This is the same difference as buying gold and getting gold plated. I bought these because of how they were advertised. BRASS.What an annoying waste of time.

Size is small - my new review

This is a nice wall plate to cover an existing phone jack. The color is beautiful against my glass tiles. It blends in better with my glass tile backsplash in my kitchen. I took a star off because it is a little small and does not completely cover the hole. But it is so slight that it is not that noticable unless you look closely.
