Ease of use in networking products

I've always wanted to try this so called "mesh router" to replace my traditional router. My IT at work suggested I look into this new EnGenius EMH4000 as it uses all the EnGenius products for our office building. Initially I was apprehensive about setting it up because I really don't know much about the network. but it turned out that the installation is quite simple. I download the app and just follow step by step and it works. Now my whole house is covered by a strong signal. Once installed…

Cons

Fatal error for non-home use

It's not clear from the documentation and sales papers that using the phone app is the ONLY way to control these devices and their associated mesh routers. This might be fine for a home application, but for managing a group of them, especially in a commercial environment, it's downright ridiculous. This makes them quite unsafe and therefore difficult to manage.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Annoyed

Excellent value for money Network extension

I'm a big fan of Engenius products. I have a system in my house and need more coverage in the garage. EnMesh Dot connected to the network very quickly and gave me full coverage in the right area. Can't wait to see this article at higher speeds in the future

Pros
  • Value for money
Cons
  • No form required

Unwanted computers and accessories

The connection was unstable and dropped from my engius Mesh Wi-Fi network from time to time. It was also very hot, so I'm pretty sure it was overheating. return for refund.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent

Easy setup: network products

app setup is very easy. It provides graphics and a set of instructions to get me through. Point blocks are quite small and look elegant. My favorite part is the dots that allow me to move it from point to point. I can plug it in my yard when I have a BBQ party. Very convenient! I would definitely recommend this to my friends!

Pros
  • fingers crossed
Cons
  • socket required
