Half broken on cylinder 2

Obviously the torque of my drill was too high to work with the relatively thin twisted pair cable that forms the core of this tool. Actually it should have been a solid steel bar or a stronger cable.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

PAUSE AFTER FOUR MINUTES ON FIRST USE

This article is absolute garbage. If I could give 0 stars I would. I didn't even have time to make 1 cylinder when the crimp holding the flexible shaft failed and the whole thing fell apart. If you are looking for a honing cylinder I would suggest buying it elsewhere.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Little things

DO NOT BUY ! - Tools & Equipment

This grinder is absolute junk, it fell apart on the very first try when I tried to use it, barely made 5 turns with the cordless drill and the flexible shaft came out of the top ring, the stones and the bottom of the whetstone fell off in the item I was working on and I had to cut it apart just to get it out GARBAGE MOOOM! 1 star is shown because 0 stars is not possible

Works as expected in Brake Tools

Did an excellent repair on a 1980 850cc 4 cylinder motorcycle and did a great job. There were a few spots that felt a bit rough and they smoothed them out and added nice spiral hatches to the cylinder walls. Application tips: 1. Work slowly, put the drill in the lowest gear and make about 4-5 revolutions per second. 2. Don't push or pull the bricks past the middle (the pins they spin on) or the bricks will pop out at the end and you'll have to stop and reinsert the bricks into the cylinder .

Pros
  • Convenient item
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

Avoid disaster! for brake adjusting tool

the engine is in very good condition, but my cylinder head gasket burst and on the run 250 thousand. decided to restore it. I bought this honing tool hoping it would do the job it was designed to do. In the beginning it worked great. I used a lot of oil and used it lightly. I cleaned the cylinder then sprayed the dirt off the stones and re-oiled everything to make sure it was saturated. Then, after several passes, I suddenly heard a high-pitched squeak, so I immediately pulled out the tool and…
