Looking for Oversized tour wrap grips

Had oversized tour wrap grips on my woods and from a different brand loved how they felt. For about $3 less per grip, I decided to try these ones. Once I replaced all the grips on my clubs I was so happy with the feel. The more expensive ones were a little bit bigger but I liked this feel a little better. It’s a good go between for midsize and jumbo as you see for other brands. Where very easy to change out (first time I did it) and with the oversized grip I don’t squeeze it as much as I did…

Pros
  • Odered a replacement 8 iron and needed to apply a jumbo grip.Just what I expected - GREAT
Cons
  • May not fit all golf club sizes

Replacing all irons with oversized grips.

These are a bit more difficult to get on. Never having regripped clubs myself I decided to give it a shot and see if the reviews about difficulty are correct.Prior to install I replaced a jumbomax grip on a driver. It was easier than these. However even without a vice as long as I did a good job saturating the inside of the grip and tape with solvent went on fine. Clubs are Taylor made burner 2.0 with graphite shafts.Feel of the grips is awesome and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend for the…

Pros
  • Fast service and looks & feels great .
Cons
  • Cheaply made and not good gripping action. Will not purchase again.

best grip on the market. Period.

My new absolute favorite grip! Ive played every golfpride grip out there and eventually fell in love with the winn dritac grips. i ordered this as a sample for my gf clubs because she hates her tour velvets (hands hurt by end of round) but thinks my dritac are too tacky and would chaff her hands if theyre not sweaty. We put this side by side with the winn dritac wrap, GP tour wrap and wrap microsuede. The quality of this grip is amazing, and the price is even better. I would easily pay 10-12$ea

Pros
  • Great grips for comfort and not slipping when sweaty.
Cons
  • Very good grip. Tacky and perfect for smaller hands or ladies or kids

Buyer beware in my review

One of the grips has started to wear the wrap is peeling after just two weeks of light use. They feel great but I will not buy again. Can’t believe this is a regular problem but I won’t chance it again. Buyer beware.

Pros
  • Torsional Performance: A multi-layer grip construction that delivers total performance. A soft, tacky outer layer offers extreme grip, while a firm rubber inner core provides the stability and feedback golfers need to play their best.
Cons
  • More difficult to clean than traditional grip

Great grip, doesn’t last long

Love the grip, cool style and very comfortable in your hands. Unfortunately, I put this on about 15 rounds ago and already needs to be replaced

Pros
  • ‎Ambidextrous
Cons
  • Could take away from the aesthetics of some golf clubs

Junk quality. - my new review

Put this grip on just like the hundreds of other grips I've done and it ripped in half about 2 inches onto the shaft. Last one I buy.

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • May not provide enough cushioning for those with hand pain

My favorite on my review.

I use these types of grips exclusively. I really like the soft feel. They do tend to wear out rather quickly. I recently had carpal tunnel surgery on my left hand. Since the surgery, my left hand in much weaker than my right. I am a right-handed golfer and it is very difficult for me to keep my right hand out of the swing. Where my thumb on my right hand sits on the grip, this is the spot that wears out first. This really ticks me off, but also it gives me feedback to remind me to really try to

Pros
  • Taper Control Technology: A tour-inspired profile with minimal taper that helps golfers even their hand pressure so they can swing faster and square the clubface more naturally.
Cons
  • May have a steep learning curve for some

A little tight but if done right is a good grip

I can see how this could be pretty hard to install. I did it in a graphite club and it wasn’t too bad but with the spiral wrap pattern you just need to evenly distribute the force when you push it one. Push from the top middle and end and alternate. That way you don’t stretch it out and destroy it like others have by just grabbing the middle or end of grip and pulling it on.

Pros
  • GeoSpeed Channels: Deep, wrap-style channels that are geometrically designed to help golfers minimize grip pressure so they can transfer speed more effectively at impact.
Cons
  • May not provide enough traction for those with sweaty hands

Soft, challenging to install, didn’t last.

SuperStroke Traxion (Winn Excel competitors) were very soft to touch when new, however they were difficult to install even with a lot of solvent and they didn’t even last a year before deteriorating. Could not recommend. Would not buy again. Improvement to the durability needs to be made.

Pros
  • ‎11 x 2 x 2 inches
Cons
  • May not work well in wet conditions

No problem with Golfworks tape.

Unless it's too cold (rare here), I play gloveless, so the grips are even more important, especially in hot and humid weather (common here). My first two installation attempts were disasters. Then I broke open a fresh roll of Golfworks tape and these grips slid right on. They feel like DriTacs (been using for years), but seem to hold up better, maybe a lot better; time will tell, eh? (I threw the old tape away.)

Pros
  • ‎Textured
Cons
  • Not suitable for those who prefer a minimalist grip

Cheap Quality, most slippery grip you’ll ever buy

Tried to put this grip (Standard Size) on my 3 wood and it ripped while pulling it down the shaft. Also, there is very little grip to these grips, they are slick and smooth

Pros
  • Golf
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those who want a versatile grip suitable for multiple sports

Good grip, was sent one wrong grip though

Grips are good have them on my irons and I am just replacing a few that were more wore down. Ordered 4 black and I got 3 black and one gray. Not worth the hassle to return it.

Pros
  • Golf Club Parts
Cons
  • Not available in a wide variety of colors

Not that hard to install.

It’s very unfortunate that so many people have had a problem installing these. I don’t really understand how or why. I have installed over 20 on two different sets of clubs and while I had toEnsure they were going I. Straight, they all went on. I have never installed my own grips untilI bought this set. Either way I would rather have a grip that goes on snug than super easy. Great vintage look, great price, great feel.

Pros
  • Undersize - DIAMETER -1/64″ / WEIGHT 35g / CORE 0.600″R / GRIP LENGTH
Cons
  • Could potentially make the club feel heavier

Feel great but don’t last

These grips feel and look great, but in my driver they are already breaking down. Disappointed they did not last a few trips to the range

Pros
  • If you need grips these are really nice
Cons
  • When installing the grip it deteriorated as if it were 10 years old.

Good grips - my new review

Great revain price compared to box retailers. Only changed the grips on 4 clubs but will need to do the rest later on the year and will definitely use these grips from this retailer.

Pros
  • ‎Golf
Cons
  • If not installed correctly, could cause damage to the club

Major Quality Issues - Falls apart during install

I bought 3 of these to throw on my 3 wedges. In the end, I am glad I only pulled the grip off one of them because I went through all 3 of the new grips I bought on the one club and the last grip I was able to get installed partially fell apart so it has a weird small buldge in it still.

Pros
  • Got three to make a mini set of clubs for my toddler. Now I want them on my clubs!
Cons
  • Some people may not enjoy the advanced surface texture

Listen to the reviews

Should have listened to the reviews. As they said these grips did not even fit on my True Temper Dynamic Gold s300's. Worst buy ever. Glad I didn't damage them. Returning them

Pros
  • Very comfortable
Cons
  • Outer layer peeled off. Only had this grip on my driver for 2 weeks and had to replace it.

Item defective / did not work

When attempting to put this on, item ripped immediately and was worthless. Money spent on this was wasted. Not eligible for return or refund. Do not buy.

Pros
  • Tacky grip that’s comfortable. And at a great price
Cons
  • Horrible grip.3 of them the installer wasn't able to get on the club.Waste of money

Look and feel great.

These look like traditional leather wraps, but they’re so much better. They go great on vintage clubs and they’re very inexpensive. Pick some up today.

Pros
  • ‎No Warranty
Cons
  • Could cause blisters for those with sensitive skin

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good feel, but too snug on install.

Really nice grips. Once you get them on. I wish I had read more of the reviews before I ordered. These fit insanely snug. It can be done but come prepared with a truckload of solvent and some elbow grease. Now that they are installed they have some good tack and are comfortable to hold. But I don't think I'd buy them again, unless I was paying someone else to install them.

Pros
  • ‎13.62 x 2.72 x 0.98 inches
Cons
  • May not be as durable as other golf club grips
