Actually fits 73 c10 well, it's a good idea to buy insulation on the back and steel wall of the truck. You have to drill all the holes. Good buy, quality metal.

This is a quality product but note the retractor belt is fixed where it is fixed. There are other places you can move it, but it may compromise security.

This item is good for placing 6x9 speakers in the open area of the cab. The position here is good as the sound can travel up the sides of the seats instead of being drowned out by the seat. If you are looking for an easy way to add a lot of sound to your cabin. This could be a good way for you to do that.

They make a huge difference and really fill the cabin with sound once the fader (or gain if you have an external amp) is set right. They placed the speaker in the perfect spot to get the sound through the cabin. Before installing the speaker, I put some insulation in the bracket so all the sound is directed into the cab. They're made of heavy gauge metal and don't have pre-drilled holes, so be sure to use metal drill bits when installing.

Brackets fit well, overall slightly larger than they should be. You need to get in from the top first, with the top edge going behind the sheet metal, and then rotating the bottom one. It fits very tight from top to bottom and is well pressed at the back and sides. Won't work with a cardboard tray (this would require cutting the corners and trimming the bottom to fit the speaker.
