Weak bolts on gears and parts

The bolts that come with a filter and pan are inferior to the original bolts. The head is easy to remove and pops out with a little tug. I'd rather pay a little more and get class 5 screws.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Some small things

A little cheap: spare parts

cheap device delivered. Many screws loosely loosened. I had to reuse the factory screws. Also, one of the four magnets in the sealed unit shattered. Had to reuse one of the old ones. It worked, but not without problems.

Pros
  • dope 🔥
Cons
  • little things

SCREW GARBAGE.: Gears and Gears

transmission pan fits as expected. No questions. However, screws are absolute garbage. REUSE OEM SCREWS. When installing, I was careful not to overload it, a head broke off. In addition, they are very easy to take off. SCREWS ARE WASTE. And the O-ring is also leaking.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Do not buy! for spare parts

after installation by a specialized store in two weeks I noticed a leak. Upholstery failed. After removing, you can see that the internal filter is trying to leave it. It would be a disaster if it got on my transmission. Luckily I didn't drive long enough for that. This is not a US company and good luck getting a guarantee. Revain simply had to return the money for the purchase.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • vulgarity

The pan works as intended, but the screws are junk!

I replaced my pan/filter because I made a hole in my pan by hitting a 'T' post in tall grass. The palette worked fine but the cheap screws are rubbish! I retightened all the screws after replacing them and 2 screws broke in the head as soon as I tightened them with a small torque. So I had to remove them all and loosen the pan 2 screws (which I could only do with my fingers as they weren't tight). I ended up using the original screws for the new pan.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • I can't remember but something happened

The original O-ring does not fit

Please note that the original O-ring does not fit perfectly. With the onset of cold, my transmission drain plug began to leak. When I opened the drain plug, I noticed that the o-ring was a bit small. So I went to Harbor Freight and bought a set of o-rings that fit better. Also when I bought this in June the description mentioned that the filter could be replaced but it is NOT. Glad to see it finally removed from the description. If you buy this, be sure to check the o-ring before installing it.

Pros
  • just fine
Cons
  • no automatic

Be sure to buy, just don't rely on a replacement filter.

Perfect fit, good quality. Works and fits exactly. However prior to installation I was struggling to figure out how to replace the filter in the future as it's obviously a feature and without breaking it I can't figure it out. The tabs are all plastic and seem to break if forcefully released. Although cheaper than most I would really like to know that I can replace the filter if needed. Instructions for this would be nice. None of that is included at all but swapping out is pretty darn easy and

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Almost never

USE TORQUE WRENCH

Direct pan replacement on my 2015 Ram 1500 with ZF8. Everything fit perfectly and looked just like the original pan I took for 100,000 miles. Don't believe the FCA when they say these gearboxes are sealed for life. Be careful and follow the ZF recommendation of 60k when towing, or at least a 100k service interval like I did (since I used a truck and assumed no one had ever serviced it before). Just make sure to use a GOOD torque wrench. That's exactly at the low 8Nm torque most techs suggest. I
