The SMS function is disabled and can be unlocked. There is no way to take screenshots.

I thought it would be the perfect mobile office tablet but after 2 days of phone calls to tech support and countless web searches there is no way to enable premium text messaging services to allow SMS. Without the ability to get verification codes for secure websites, this tablet is useless to me. Also, the SIGNAL APP is somehow incompatible with this tablet. Another thing I don't like is that none of the quick menus have a screenshot function.

Great solid tablet.

The LTE version does not allow direct calling from the SIM card, you have to register on another Galaxy device. Don't buy the LTE version if you think you can use it as a phone. A very heavy tablet, cumbersome for the consumer to carry but well built for work. Screen. Too expensive. The sound is so-so. Good responsiveness.

Big improvement over my old Samsung 8 inch tablet.

For example, the three buttons below the screen are always available. The handle works great and the storage compartment is in good condition. I like the improved screen resolution. I like the abundance of storage space. I like the 8 inch size, it's easy to hold in one hand and read or write. Very happy with this tablet.

Voice over LTE doesn't work, but Voice over IP does.

I think this is a great solid 8 inch tablet that ticks all of my boxes. For some reason Samsung didn't enable Voice over LTE, Voice over IP works fine. I use Google Voice which is free and I can make and receive calls on this tablet! You can use Internet Connection Sharing and connect other devices to share your LTE Internet, but speed is limited. However, the tablet has DeX, which allows you to run Android on your laptop or TV wirelessly in an environment that is very similar to Windows 10…

broken screen? in Computers and Accessories

was damaged This must be a defective device. Streaks from the box are visible on the screen. Either that or the screen is awful. I also can't figure out how to call and receive messages (using Verizon). I've seen reviews that show this tablet has a speaker and can make calls. I don't see these options. I am seriously considering returning this device.

Good investment BUT.

This is a great product BUT: 1. You need a second device to connect to internet service; 2. You will also need an additional SIM card for your tablet (data). Conclusion: To work with this tablet, you need 2 devices with 2 SIM cards. I consulted Verizon (doesn't work with Verizon since it's an AT&T device); AT&T and T-Mobile. No one can help me to use this tablet as just a tablet and a phone. I haven't found any additional information on the internet on how to set up this tablet as a tablet…

Excellent tablet the best in computers and accessories

I wanted a tablet that I can use in WIFI and CELL and this tablet can be used internationally. I tried to use my SIMS Google FI but the device quickly stated that this device is not compatible. It's pretty funny since it supports T-Moble and ATT. In general, the tablet is excellent, the body is sturdy, it starts up quickly, the screen is good. Now I have to wait and see if it works in Africa.
