Ideal for labeling envelopes. My granddaughter and I are pen pals, and although we live in the same town, we send letters back and forth. My handwriting has deteriorated after two hand/wrist surgeries, so I can now write where I need to. There are several templates with different spacing so I can get creative with either typeface or italics. I ordered a set for me and one for her. She loves hers too!

I've been painting on envelopes a lot for the last year and thought it would really help to keep calligraphic addresses perfectly straight. Well, not so much. You cannot calligraph or address with the template on the envelope as your downward strokes will be interrupted by the plastic. I use them, but only to slightly outline the lines at the top and bottom, and then, after setting the addresses, erase the lines with a pencil. Isn't worth the money to me. I'm so bad at writing. It helped me to write directly and where it should be. I love that it comes with four different envelopes to help me with different types of envelopes. They are made of thick and hard plastic. Very well done. They have a rough texture so they don't slip or slide across the envelope.
