Very good product in hole saw sets

I just used this to drill 3 3" holes in 3/4" thick MDF. The cutters worked as they should - they cut quickly and cleanly as you would expect. No visible signs of wear on the teeth after the work is done. The mandrel and stabilizing plate ensure complete bit stability. Wide range of bit sizes and a handy storage case. Incredible value for money and a very good product.

Received today. Attempt to drill a 3" hole in a MDF laminate (IKEA). Halfway through, the mounting hole on the drill (usually oblong/rectangular) has been completely cleaned out by the force of the drilling process. No wonder, because the metal of these bits is very thin. I wasn't expecting outstanding quality for $15, but not being able to drill even a basic 3" hole in MDF is . to put it mildly. disappointing. To return.

Did what it was supposed to do

later I've only used it on plastic where I needed to cut a 1 3/4" hole. It did what it needed to do and cut through the plastic with ease. The only one Problem I had was the drill bit had some trouble cutting through the original pilot hole.There weren't too many problems as a bit more force forced the hole through.I had no problem with the larger hole drill bit cutting through cut the plastic.quickly and evenly.The drill bits are oiled probably to prevent rusting.But figuring out how to put…
