It is a decent torque wrench provided you receive a good unit

Not discounting the negative review by many, there must be a great deal of quality variance on the production batch. In my case, I must have received a good one, as I was not able to repeat the issues many encountered. Here is my observation:1. In the documentation, it clearly states that the torque wrench function only works in the clockwise direction. This is where it can get some people into trouble, if you flip the switch and rotate counter-clockwise, it acts like a ratchet. There is no…

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Limited torque range of 10-80 ft.-lb

Seems good on my review.

Seems to be good quality. Ratchet works well. Can't speak to its accuracy since I have no way to check. I figure for lug nuts at 83 ft. Lbs. It's close enough.

Pros
  • Worth the purchase
Cons
  • Only suitable for 3/8-inch drive sockets

Fits Small Engine Crankcase

Tried HF 1/4" drive torque wrench, would not fit in Predator 212 crankcase to tighten rod bolts. Bought this one and had room to torque down rod bolts due to smaller rachet head design. Numbers easier to read as well. Fast delivery!

Pros
  • Mechanical click, like I wanted, very useful!
Cons
  • The click sound may be too soft for noisy work environments

High Accuracy - [Tested with a Torque Meter]

I bought this torque wrench specifically for bike repairs and maintenance. It looks and feels well-made and comes with a decent storage case, an extension and adapter. The scales are high contrast and easy to read. However, before using it for any work I decided to test its accuracy first since there seem to be quite a few people complaining about poor accuracy. While I don’t have a calibrated hand to "feel” how accurate or not this torque wrench is, I was fortunate enough to have access and…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • The ratchet mechanism is not very durable

Good product at a great value

I have only used this a few times so I can't yet speak to the long term durability but it feels well built and sturdy. Can't beat the value.

Pros
  • I does well what is made for, It cames with and extention and reduction which is great.
Cons
  • The handle is not ergonomic and can cause hand fatigue over time

Good quality torque wrench

This is a good wrench. It's easy to adjust, comes with clear instructions, and is definitely sturdy. Purchased for making specific adjustments to motorcycle components per manufacturer specifications. This does a great job.

Pros
  • Works great for rotating tiers. And it’s small and easy to store in the car
Cons
  • The calibration can drift over time with regular use

Seemed nice. Well packed in its case.

I never got the chance to actually use this wrench do to it looking perused. I was going to use it for my spark plugs but didn't want to chance it due to it looking returned for whatever reason. So I choose not to use it and returned it. Looks great and seemed as if it would work just fine. But for me I couldn't trust it being New and correct specs.

Pros
  • Accessories included: 3/8" to 1/4" drive adapter , 3/8" to 1/2" drive adapter and 3/8" drive extension bar
Cons
  • The handle can be hard to adjust when wearing safety glasses or goggles

Not Serviceable - Can't Open Up

After 3 years, tool has accumulated rust and is easier to just throw away than to take apart, clean and lubricate like a normal tool. Real shame. Would give 1 star but I want this review to be more likely to be read so I'm giving it 3 stars.

Pros
  • It tools p well
Cons
  • Does not come with a case or storage pouch

Pretty good wrench on my review.

I tested this along side a much more expensive electronic wrench and the difference in torque was marginal and less that 1ft pound in variance thus pretty spot on in regards to spec. In it's defense though it's an old school manual and therefore it's real easy to be slightly off when setting it. The variance could have easily been myself jerking it when tightening the adjustment bolt down. It's durable I've already maxed this out multiple times & I don't see this failing or the batteries dying…

Pros
  • It’s actually pretty good. Just be careful with the amount of pressure.
Cons
  • The torque settings may be hard to see in certain lighting conditions

Torque wrench worked fine installing rifle scope

Used the torque wrench to install scope on my hunting rifle. Setting the torque was a bit tricky but worked fine. I guess you could test the accuracy with a fish scale but I did not test. It seemed accurate.

Pros
  • Perfect for low torque on my spark plugs!!
Cons
  • Not suitable for use in wet or damp conditions

Inexpensive, well built 1/4 " torque wrench

Very nice, well built, inexpensive torque wrench. Used it to torque down all of the hard to reach bolts in the block of my predator 212 motor. Worked like a charm.

Pros
  • Nice feel easy to use work wellFast shipping
Cons
  • The handle can be hard to turn when the torque setting is at its maximum

Needs more clicks but works ok

I was trying to tighten brake caliper and wheel bearing bolts to spec but most of the time I could only get one click out of it which made it especially difficult to use in tight places but was still doable.

Pros
  • ‎Inch
Cons
  • Not suitable for use in areas with limited access or clearance

Works fine good for me

The wrench works fine but I am used to a longer handle on my 3/4 drive torque wrench. This one takes quite a bit to torque 120 pounds or more with this length handle.

Pros
  • Have not had the chance to use since I received, but the quality for the money is outstanding.
Cons
  • The handle can be too narrow for some users

Works as expected and costs less

I expected to pay more for a decent torque wrench. This was basically just like any other I've used. Does it hold up to everyday use? I don't know, but it seems really solid and well made. It does not feel flimsy or cheap. I don't need a torque wrench often, but when I do, this works perfectly.

Pros
  • Works great.
Cons
  • The click sound is not very loud, making it hard to detect

It'll get the job done

I needed a torque wrench in a hurry and didn't want to spend a lot of money. Did it do the job, YES. How accurate, I believe it's close enough. The numbers are small so it took a min to read the instructions and figure out how to get right settings. All in all no issues.

Pros
  • They work great.
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain types of bolts or nuts

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Seems legit on my review.

I'm not technically gifted. Practically or theoretically. Needed it as 1 time use for some expensive pedals for my MTB and it did what it was lrxuahed for. I Might even use it on my firearms now too ;-)

Pros
  • Hard to read
Cons
  • Can be difficult to use in tight spaces due to the length of the handle

Great tool at a good price

I have needed a torque wrench for a while, but I would use less frequently than my normal socket wrenches. So I did not want to spend a lot. This is a quality wrench, and it comes in a plastic case. There is also a 5" long Extension Bar and 1/2" Drive to 3/8" Drive Reducer-- which came in handy on the project I did this weekend. I expect to use this mostly on fixing my tractor (wheels and such) as well as truck projects. Just used it last night to install running boards on my truck. The only…

Pros
  • Excellent. No complaints. Good price.
Cons
  • The wrench may wear out quickly with heavy use

EPAuto Rules best in my review

I have several EPAuto tools and accessories. They are a SOLID company that makes SOLID, good quality items for affordable prices. When looking to get new tools for my motorcycle or truck, I always search their products firs.

Pros
  • Nice product with much needed extensions.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use on certain types of vehicles or machinery

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality for minor jobs.

Instructions are easy to read and understand for a first time user like me. I was able to torque caliper bolts (27lb) and tire lugnuts (85 lb) without issues. Nicely packed in a sturdy case.

Pros
  • Good for the price does what it’s meant to do.
Cons
  • The handle can be too thick for some users with small hands
