High quality pasta dryer made in Italy

Excellent pasta dryer. Fits perfectly and can be quickly disassembled for storage. I was able to dry about a pound of fettuccine, perfect for a family. I had no problem with the paste sticking to the dryer sleeves.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Damaged

Quality control is poor

I like that it can be folded. It is very light but suitable for hanging pasta. I bought this because usually goods from China have poor quality control and usually Italian goods seem to be of higher quality. Not that that curved rod made any difference when hanging the pasta, but it would be hard to miss for someone who assembled it. It's just carefree.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • confused

The "legs " didn't stretch properly

The material is very good, but it's almost impossible to push out the bottom of the product to make it stable. The "legs" appear to have been partially glued on, so I had a feeling they were about to break when I tried to pull them out, so I couldn't quite do it. I've been able to expand it enough to make it stable and usable, but I'm concerned that it might break next time I try to open it. I bought this because I like that it folds and closes easily, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Easy to assemble and pack away for storage

As described. Easy to assemble and put away for storage. I only gave it 4 stars because there were quite a few "splinters" at the end of about 1/3 of the pins where the pasta would hang. I simply took the soft cleaning part of a kitchen sponge and gave those ends a thorough "brushing" to try to remove or soften those pesky bits (you have to rub pretty hard to remove them or smooth them out). I don't want them in my homemade pasta. Perhaps a slightly better finish by the manufacturer (e.gโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • I'm silent

How to transfer pasta to a pot on a dryer.

I wanted to provide some pictures because some said they wished the pins could be removed so they could carry the noodles into the pot. I think this method of gently lifting the entire top (see photo; make sure you grab the center) is even easier if you want to get a large batch into your pot. This seems more stable than individual pins and you're more likely to add all the pasta to the pan at once to ensure they cook evenly for the same amount of time. Also, as you can see, I tend to curl allโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • boring packaging

Best suited to my needs for measuring tools and scales

I'm new to the world of pasta making and figured a pasta rack would save me countless hours of tearing apart sticky pieces of pasta. I read all the reviews and chose this one. So far very satisfied. I wish it had more hands to hold pasta as I make a huge batch at a time but can't fit them in there. Otherwise, I like everything about this shelf. I like that it's natural beech (although I can't tell if it's been treated or not. I hope not but I suspect so. Anyone know?). I love that I can fold it

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Bad impression
