There are very few such goods

there are very few such goods. It worked great for cutting long pasta. The only thing that worries me as to why it got 4 stars and not 5 stars is that the pasta sometimes sticks and rolls around the cutter when you use it. Just make sure you use a lot of flour!

Pros
  • handicrafts and sewing
Cons
  • old

It's a great idea, but it takes a lot of pressure.

That's a great idea but you have to use a lot of pressure to cut pasta. When the cutter is pressed, the metal wires are pushed outward and part of the rolling pin is released. So it's actually pretty useless, which is a shame because if there was a nut or something to keep the wires from moving it would probably work just fine.

  • Sewing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Good quality

I have several of these units from different brands to compare and have decided to keep this one. It looks sturdy and well made. The blades are thicker and not sharp like some others (can easily be hand rolled) but I think it will be enough to cut through dough - I'll update if I'm wrong after trying. It's made in Italy and it's the same brand as my ravioli set, which is a plus.
