We expected the knee pad to be white as pictured. No, it was black. In addition, my daughter's breeches fit well. 2 stars only because of the disappointment my daughter had when she expected the knee patches to be a contrasting white. She needed the pants and didn't want to give them back and wait for the others to come.

These breeches were so comfortable! They stretch well in the legs and were great for riding, but the waist size was too big. I thought I could fix this with a belt but the waist belt is sticking out of the back of the belt they are so big! I wear normal pants in size 32 (10) so I was surprised that they are very large. I will most likely buy again in a smaller size.

Whimsical look and feel at a great price. I'm small, 5'0" so they're quite long. But the stretchy fabric edges make length not an issue and fold comfortably under the toes of my boots. I have swag. Bought a navy blue pair. No clearance issues, over those others have complained I'm disappointed that there isn't a white spot on the knee as pictured but I still feel good and am stuck to my saddle Overall I'm very pleased and would love to get other colors.

I ordered navy blue and they arrived with white knee patches! You are really cool! There's also a circular patriotic star patch on the back belt loop, white piping on the pockets, and an American flag logo on the back pocket. That's a lot for some people, but I think they look great, and since I wear them to school, the biggest issues are comfort and fit - and they're very comfortable, fit well, and are flattering (my butt looks a lot smaller !). These are very attractive breeches made from a fairly decent quality material. I bought them from Safari and they were classic khaki - not too green or gray like some of the other "brown" breeches I've found.
