I love the TSA latch lock. I don't like that you have to tilt the box so it doesn't fall back when you open it. You need to make sure the bottom block is loaded, or tilt the back for support.

If you plan to fly a lot with this suitcase it won't last. I've had it for less than a year, both wheels broke off, there are holes in the bodywork from luggage transport, the lower bumpers fell off after one ride, now the handle is bent and no longer good.

This case is extremely light yet strong. Although slightly smaller than the SQ-6, the mixer fits perfectly front to back, leaving about 5 inches left to right. You will need spare foam to cover the faders to keep the mixer from moving during vertical transport. This case is a very reliable, less expensive and much lighter weight alternative to anvil cases.

I like the tool box, good storage and solid design. The only thing that disappointed me is that it is lined with fabric. I've been carrying this tool kit around for over 20 years and sometimes it gets dirty - you know, oily or something. Since it's lined with fabric, I'm concerned it will be difficult to clean up the mess. However, if I was carrying some sensitive equipment on the bottom, that would be great (and I'd appreciate the padding more), especially with two layers of foam filling the…
