GREAT! for art supplies and tools

I can't say enough good things about this product. I'm moving out of my rented apartment and I need to patch up all the holes in the walls from my hanging paintings. I wasn't sure how it would work but WOW! The walls are beige and this putty is white, but if you wipe off the excess you won't notice the difference. It's a lot easier than using a putty scraper. Just apply it in circular motions, don't wait long at all, then wipe off the excess with a damp cloth. TRY IT, YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Useless features

Perfect for what I needed

I had a hole in the drywall from a screw that was removed. This product did exactly what I needed with a minimum of fuss and fuss, no special equipment or tools required. Follow the directions, use the edge of the lid to flatten it and it's almost perfect. I've also since used it to repair drywall that was damaged when removing an old vanity, it filled the dent perfectly. I'm doing a facelift with new art on the walls and I know this will work great to patch up the old holes. A good thing.

Full video review - from start to finish

I was completely satisfied with the first detergent I received (with the red cap) but was a bit disappointed with the second one I received (with the blue cap). ... would be 5 stars if the company developed two different products for different wall types. For example, a red cap product is for semi-smooth to rough surfaces, while a blue cap product is for smooth surfaces. It would be a great product if they separated the two formulas; corresponding to different surface textures.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

Great price, easy to use.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Rather than taking putty, waiting for it to dry, sanding it and touching it up as needed, this reduces the time/effort to 1) scrub the area that needs repair, 2) remove excess. The hardest part is not accidentally spilling the product on areas of the wall that don't need it, but it's easy to clean up so no problem. I used this to patch holes in a wall from a former WiFi router and modem - apart from the difference in color from patch to color you would…

Amazing Wall Repair Item

The contractor left our wall like this. They "fixed" the rift (she returned, if at all, a month later). They were supposed to paint the room but they brought the wrong color. At the end of the whole house renovation process (4 months) we were disappointed and ready for everyone to leave our house. So we told them to just leave it and that we would take care of it. Fast forward a year later. Found this product by accident and am so glad I did. It's so easy to use and after a bit of sanding and…

Must-have (if you can put deodorant you can poke a small hole in the wall)

After redoing our entire main floor and removing the removed surface that contained the trim I bought this for ours smooth surface . Walls, "just in case", the wall broke. A few days after receiving this, my baby bee gun (sp?) - not mine - accidentally fired in my hallway. I was surprised at how much damage the accident had done to my wall, but the next day I applied a roll-on deodorant-style wall putty knife, let it dry, sanded lightly, and painted over. There is no longer any evidence that…

Simple putty in a deodorant applicator - needs smoothing out

I drilled about 15 holes in the ceiling trying to find a bobby pin. It seemed like a great solution. The idea is great, but I had the same results as with regular putty. The product did not become perfectly smooth to fill the holes. I had to mash tons of product with my finger to fill the hole and it was a bit messy because I wasn't prepared with a scraper like I should have been. So it got lumpy and I ended up having to get a scraper to smooth it out. It's just putty in a deodorant applicator.

  • Lots of positive emotions

quick solution! - Wall Repair

I've always used to use nail putty that can be squeezed or scooped - that was great. But we are selling our house and have decided that it will be good for our karma if we patch up any holes left by our massive art collection. There are hundreds. I decided to branch out and try this product - just seeing all the holes I had to squeeze my regular fountain pen into made my hands ache. The thought of going with a small deodorant-like tube seemed like a quicker option, so I ordered even though it…
