Cool product - complete nonsense.

Very disappointing. When I first put them on, the plastic on the side broke and I didn't pull hard. Then they fell off and I couldn't find any of them. For a supposedly reliable product, this was a complete failure and a waste of money.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • No automatic controls

Don't listen to the description, only use on mud and ice

I bought these because the description said they were suitable for roofing. They are NOT suitable for canopies. They're not terrible on bare wood, but they will ruin the shingles and not give you traction. If you need something to help out on the ice, this is probably fine. Stick to that, don't use anything but ice and mud.

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • disappears

Buy it! good for ice and snow grips

Living in an area prone to ice build up they were bought to replace another brand that was wearing out. After looking at what was available I settled on these because they have five studs (should have ice studs) on the heel. I am very satisfied, they are very well made and cover the entire boot excellently. Despite intensive use by me, they have never come loose. These are the best on the market. Don't buy others.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • badly thought out

Traction grips have excellent stretch

These grips are pretty good and look solid (only briefly tested at time of review). Account. Please note that the length of your shoes is much larger than the size of your foot. And you have to stretch the grips enough to attach them to the sole of the shoe. All you need to get a bargain is to consult the seller before you buy.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

I doubt you can use them as crampons. But for the ice, which I have in abundance here in Minnesota, ordinary boots become shoes that can be used in almost any condition. They only have trouble walking through several inches of snow on ice; Snow collects under the sole of the shoe, preventing the hard metal grips from reaching the ice. While they work well, you can still slip on ice when running or moving fast, and they feel "creepy" on polished concrete. They will scratch the linoleum etc. One…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • I won't say anything
