So I tried different types of cases, cheaper ones, for my Nintendo Switch because I recently bought two of them. it is great! Love the feel and how the back of the case sticks out so you can actually grab the switch to make it more comfortable to rest your hands on it. I like that it still fits in the TV mode dock. I don't like sharp corners. If they were rounded or had finger indentations, it would be more comfortable. Judging by the photo below, rubber. No, that is not so! It's hard plastic, so no, you can't round the corners yourself. It's just cumbersome to keep the Switch in this case. I've been trying for 4 days and just can't get used to it. Good price for what you get but remember it's only $12. It doesn't protect your Switch from drops and is still fully exposed at the front. This product is for the grip only and the comfort of this grip is ok but not great. It does the job. I have 2 main problems with it and also 1 solution to the problem.
