EricX Light Beeswax Cosmetic Grade Review

Maybe I'm used to low quality beeswax because it doesn't look like the beeswax I've been using for over 20 years. It is very soft and has a slightly gummy smell reminiscent of colored pencils. I will not use it for the intended purpose of my purchase. I will use this for non toxic candles. It even melts wonderfully. And unlike paraffin candles, it burns completely clean and non-toxic. So yes! Add some essential oils and walah. Lemonade made from lemons.

I wanted to use it to slide wood over a table saw and jointer. I've used paraffin and while it works, it's not perfect. Everyone seems to recommend beeswax and it seemed the perfect size and shape to just rub into a surface, but it's almost impossible for them to "write" on the surface. Too heavy. Paraffin works better. I don't know their purpose, but I wouldn't recommend them for pushing wood on a jointer or table saw.

This product smelled very strongly, almost like a rat, and the cat had an urge to urinate. I would never use this for cosmetic purposes or for any candle making process, I think you need to use a lot of fragrance to cover up the horrible smell and no one wants to smell like they took a bath. I don't even want to risk using/melting it for fear I'll never get the smell out of the house.
