This is the best hemp wick

There's a reason I've ordered this hemp wick for the fifth time. This material burns surprisingly well and doesn't hold a flame like many other wicks, has absolutely no taste or bad smell and leaves no marks on hands. This brand will be my loyalty for years to come.

Pros
  • Lower temperature flame for a softer and better flavor than a butane gas lighter
Cons
  • I'll write later

Clean burn, no smell, no smoke.

I love this product! The burn is clean and stable. zero smoke. Just note that it's thin. So if you have a wider candle, use more pieces of wick. Take a piece, fold it in half and twist tight. Cut off the rest. I would say that a thread will withstand a quarter of a coin in diameter. If you use this wick for a wider candle type, you will need to double it or more. The maximum I've used is four strands twisted together, and they handle a candle about 3 inches in diameter fairly easily.

Pros
  • Made from 100% organic hemp and 100% beeswax
Cons
  • Anything I can add

Burns too fast - don't buy

The tealight sized candles I've made with this wick material burned about halfway out so unfortunately it was a waste of my beeswax. The flame was also about half full the whole time because the wick wasn't strong enough. I was trying to make a large votive - the wick died after about an hour. In general, it just burns out too quickly. Do you need more or what? I don't know why but I have no idea what to do with the rest of the stuff as I definitely can't use it for candles. Huge crap.

Burns too fast (UPDATED)

UPDATE: So I started burning the twisted wick and it's perfect! It doesn't burn too fast compared to the previous one (but that might be due to the size of the candle. This is only my second candle) Overall I'm happy with this product and will definitely be keeping it for a while! I ordered this because the Michaels wick spool was more expensive than what I saw here. I used this in my first candle, a Β£5 mix of old candles and bags which I also bought here. The wick burned out too quickly…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Crumpled

This item is very thin and works well with votive and tea candles that are 2 inches in diameter or smaller. It burns relatively clean and has a nice pool. It does not produce black smoke like cotton wicks, nor does it form fungus like them. However, if you are placing them in a container, it is best to glue the tongue and secure the end with a wick holder, either pinning or tying, because once the hot wax hits the wick it will become limp like noodles and swims all over the surface. Place. The…
