UPDATE: So I started burning the twisted wick and it's perfect! It doesn't burn too fast compared to the previous one (but that might be due to the size of the candle. This is only my second candle) Overall I'm happy with this product and will definitely be keeping it for a while! I ordered this because the Michaels wick spool was more expensive than what I saw here. I used this in my first candle, a £5 mix of old candles and bags which I also bought here. The wick burned out too quickly because there is almost no wick above the melted wax, the flame is tiny compared to store-bought candles, and even if you move the candle, the wax at the bottom will put out the tiny flame. I just made another smaller candle and twisted a longer wick instead as I heard they can help. Will update when I get a chance to burn a thicker twisted wick. It actually says "Made in China" on the candle, I don't care.
