A REAL PROBLEM SOLUTION!

This is a cheap, simple, great and precision made accessory to solve the problem - how to store your new 1/2" socket set that comes without a case is a dilemma . It fits perfectly and securely into my PITTSBURGH outlets and even comes with a variety of sticks on the size indicators so you can quickly find the right outlet. Don't waste anymore and don't lose your tools. This inexpensive piece of plastic is all you need!

Pros
  • Perfect for the outdoors
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Perfect for tool bag

These twist-lock holders hold socket wrenches on the rail until you need them, which is important when carrying them in your tool bag. They can be difficult to roll up and take off in smaller sizes, but should fit better over time. For a toolbox that needs easy access, this might not be the best solution. The splints are hard, thick plastic, much better than the ones I bought at the discount store. I have bought several and would buy again.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Socket wrench required

Buy it. Great item

These are darn good for the price. strong body Hardly flexes even with 1-2" connectors. The tabs are firmly held in place, yet provide the slight movement needed when large outlets are installed on them. Which also brings me to the next point. If you're using sets like Torx, Having hex and half 3/8 and half 1/2" sets. Case for 3/8 and 1/2 is exactly the same. This makes it easy to make a strip with half and half tongues.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

It's terrible! Cheap. Plastic. Not intuitive.

I was hoping so but it's just a joke. A few questions.1. It's cheap plastic. NEVER worth the money.2. Locking outlets is counterintuitive. you have to feel it You might think they are stuck and then they fall off.3. Sliding clamps on the rail, clumsy to say the least.4. Not enough stickers. That way you'll have two marker stickers on each side for some of them, but not all of them. For example; just a sticker 5/8. What is that? Did you think we wouldn't notice?5. Once you put the stickers on…

Best mounting system and good value compared to others

Ernst seems to have taken over the bush guide market as Ernst is the best combo for different sized cocked actuators in my opinion. Their accessories include both ratchets, extensions and easy-to-snap clips. Other brands require removing an entire clamp bar to either replace it or add a different drive socket size. The twist-to-lock feature is good, and I also have a competitor that uses a spring-loaded ball bearing security lock that is more expensive and requires its own rail system. I prefer

Good idea, though!: Tools and Equipment

I like that the clips slide on the plastic base. They are easily maneuvered to standardize outlet spacing. I think the product is substantial enough to keep the outlets in order. Placing each outlet on a small pole isn't as easy as it might seem. You have to rotate the socket until it falls onto the pole. The instructions state that a slight clockwise twist will block the outlet. This procedure does not work! If the socket set is dropped or if the base is turned upside down, some if not many…

Pros

  • Not Automatic

It lasted a few minutes and I came back to this later to realize my sockets turn on very easily or I'm doing it wrong lol if it doesn't slide with ease I have to rotate it the base slightly until it is properly aligned, and then put it on. The sockets don't stay in place, they don't have internal grooves, some actually snap in and some don't. All my quality nuts with internal bearing slots spin, lock and hold great. I read someone saying that the sockets don't stay on them, if your sockets have

I recommend - good in itself but EXCELLENT given the price.

For the price I think you can't beat it. Does exactly what it says. The socket holders slide off either end of the rail with just enough force to ensure it doesn't happen accidentally, but also just enough that it's not very heavy when you want it to. The decals are a great addition and have been a selling point for me for other versions of these rails. My power sockets don't have contrast labels and it was really nice to have stickers so I could quickly determine dimensions. It would be better

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some problems
