I've tried and tried but couldn't get an accurate reading

I'm not the type to leave negative reviews but this product deserves one. I've read other reviews about buying a calibration solution to get it working. I've done all this and it never worked. I take a reading from a salt strip (good for accuracy), take a water sample to the local Leslie (fairly good), and then take a reading on the same water (horrible results, not even close to the others). Had to take a sample of Leslie's water many times to confirm actual salinity only to find it was actually high not low. Then the water had to be drained or left behind and the basin diluted. This meter is easy to use, ready to…

However, when I lowered the meter into the pool water, I got an error message every time. I called the manufacturer to see if I was doing something wrong. The manufacturer informed me that this is not a device for measuring the salinity of water in the pool. I said it was said right on the box! She then asked me if it was printed on the box or if it was a sticker. I said it was a
