Colors falsely advertised

All manufacturer images have been enhanced to look more vivid. Not cool! I almost bought the greens a while ago until I saw a recent photo of them which looked dull pastel colored. I forgot about this issue when I ordered these aqua colors and they too look dull and faded compared to the standard picture. Color issue aside, installation was easy and they feel great. I just wish they hadn't advertised the color in error. I ended up changing them to black.

ESI used to be great, not so great now

I have been using ESI grips for over 10 years. The grips were great and held up well. They have deteriorated in recent years, the new grips get dents on hands after a ride and they never go away, it reduces cushioning. they slip too, and if you sweat a lot like I do in the summer, they slip even worse. I spoke to ESI and they sent a replacement in a different color (black instead of grey) with the same issue. Unfortunately, after all these years, I have switched to all my bikes with ESI.

I've used ESI Chunky grips for the last few years of my racing career and really enjoyed them. For some reason I switched to my trail bike after retiring from racing, thinking they would be more comfortable for jumping. I was wrong. They felt too soft and fluffy and didn't really add any comfort. So I returned to ESI and couldn't be happier. They are firm but very comfortable. They don't get too slippery when wet, are easy to clean, and work well with minimally padded gloves. Definitely my…

Cool, but there are tricks to installing them

First, these are the best pens. They are soft and do not decompose like others. And since they are not fixed, they have more space for the pillow. Installation - I've installed many of these over the past 10 years and learned a few things: 1) Wipe down the steering wheel with alcohol. Then clean again. Make it very clean. 2) Use isopropyl alcohol 90% or higher, put about a tablespoon in the handle, shake and shake out. 3) put on immediately. Notes: Use high concentration of isopropyl alcohol to

The best off-road grip on the market.

Weighing just 75g, the ESI chunkies offer the perfect balance of grip and softness. Paint residue that is difficult to remove from your gloves. 2) Second, I limit their use to Cross Country: They don't provide impact protection for the ends of your handlebars like pegs do. Modern carbon handlebars cost north of $150. Collision protection is a major concern when riding aggressively over more challenging terrain. I pay a 30g fine and use 105g Santa Cruz Palmdale grips on my utility bike because…

Don't confuse them with cheap styrofoam handles that look similar.

These are the best pens I know. without exceptions. I've tried all types of friction grips. I have tried many ergo grips and many gel lined gloves. With them I have great grip and great padding. I don't even wear gel-lined gloves. Better friction and more durable than any friction grip. works when wet. They are also super comfortable and durable. In comparison, the best ergo pens I've ever used are from Ergon. They're a good platform, but the problem with them is that like all platforms, you…
