Everything about this pen was so perfect EXCEPT THE SIZE! It was NOT 45 inches wide, it was 42 inches, and it wasn't as tall as advertised, but a few inches smaller. Overall, the paddock was too small for my active Miniature Poodle puppy. Luckily my daughter agreed to take him for her Chihuahua. She gave me her pen, the size I was using when I ordered this one. I was so disappointed because I really wanted the zipper down. It has a velcro fastener that the puppy unfastens.

We wanted something comfortable and cozy and big enough for a medium sized English Cocker Spaniel (25lbs). Also, we wanted to get up quickly at night and down during the day. So it can be packed for a longer trip, but it folds up easily so it can be carried by one person and is fairly light. to be damaged. This is not a metal cage.
