They absorb oil fairly well. I needed this on my boat. The mechanic always used one of these, so I figured I'd leave enough for an oil change and a fuel filter change to catch small spills/leaks. Seems to be working as intended.

I use them to cover a swamp under my plane and to clean up small spills in the workshop. I would like to buy the ones that have a plastic backing on one side because they get wet. Nothing wrong with a swamp, but not great if you want to keep them separate under leaking appliances.

doesn't really absorb water, but hardly any oil either. The sheets are not uniform, some are thin enough to see through, others are thick. I put her on the oil stains in the store and I'll come back in a few minutes and she's still trying to soak up the oil so I come back in an hour or so, uh, there are stains on the sheet that aren't anything at all have absorbed. .

NOT as shown. No perforation as shown. Does not come in a storage box with a cut out as shown. They are fragile and leave shreds of cloth when rubbed. This product is of the same low quality as other products listed on the site that have received bad reviews. I'm not sure why this product didn't have lower ratings. I was fooled by the more positive reviews for this product.
