Good choice for pH testing

This Micro Essential Lab 2210 is excellent for testing the pH of plants, typically in the 4.5 to 6.5 range. Testing in good light is more important to me than calibrating a ph meter. I chose 5.5 and forgot. The plants love it. Make sure you select the correct scope for your use.

lucky plants like 5.5-6.5, so a good double check with digital counter. Don't forget to calibrate your digital meters regularly and almost kill your plants by turning off the meter. If stored in a cool, dry, dark place, this roll should last you a while. If you're color blind to red-green, they won't work for you. Useful and received at least a year before expiration.

This product has been shown to be useful and is at least one year past its expiration date when received. In the short useful pH range of 5.0-7.0, as far as I can tell, there are no visually highly contrasting indicator dyes or mixtures in this application. So it is not surprising that this (#2210) and a similar near pH range of 4.5-7.5 (#334) are calibrated in increments of 0.5 units. (#067 5.5-8.0 has a shorter pitch color chart (not evenly spaced) but it is useless as pH values below 5.7…
