the first hose I bought has so many kinks that the water is slowly seeping out. It took almost 15 minutes to fill the 6 gallon humidifier. The replacement was just at the bend, and now it takes about 5 minutes to fill the humidifier. The hose is pretty short so I doubt there's any point in filling a medium sized bucket.

I ordered a new inlet hose for my humidifier tank because my original hose was dirty inside. Hose with a hair dryer after each use to avoid this in the future. I've added this information for anyone else who might encounter the same issue.
