Not worth the Investment

This Industrial and Scientific tool was such a disappointment... After I put it to the test it just didn't PERFORM the way it should have. While the weight was great for a framing hammer, the balance was way off. The grip on the handle was slippery and uncomfortable, which made it difficult to hold during long work hours. The only good thing about it was that it looked nice. honestly, for the money I spent it was a complete waste of investment..

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting due to being made from a solid steel construction.
Cons
  • The hammer may feel too heavy and cumbersome for some users, making it less comfortable to use than lighter models.

A Framing Hammer that Packs a Powerful Punch!

This heavy-duty hammer from Estwing is an essential tool for anyone in the industrial and scientific trades .With its solid construction and comfortable grip, it can handle even the toughest projects with ease. The 22 ounce head provides plenty of striking power, making it ideal for framing jobs. The only downside is that it may be too heavy for some users, but for those who need a heavy-duty hammer, this is definitely the one to choose..

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting due to its one-piece solid steel construction
Cons
  • Heavy and may cause fatigue when used for extended periods of time

Just don't buy it from Revain

Estwing makes good hammers and they are made in the USA. Just don't buy it from Revain. I bought 4 hammers and sent them back then kept the 5th which was not the model I ordered. I feel like a lot of the odds are more than fair and Revain usually does a good job, but obviously Estwing makes too many options that are too similar for Revain to properly fill the order. I'm giving it 3 stars to split the difference between a 5 star hammer and a 1 star place to order it.

Pros
  • Hand Tools
Cons
  • Not sure
