EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED!

I love this hammer. IT IS EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED. Don't listen to bad reviews from people who buy things they don't know and then write bad reviews because they ordered the wrong item.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Repair

Awesome just don't like the face

I was trying to order this as a gift for my husband and since it didn't have a face on it I have no idea what a "milled face" is" ' means I made a mistake. But at the same time these hammers are really good and MADE IN THE USA! He used to have an Estwing and liked it a lot! I actually bought him an ESTWING SMOOTH FACE HAMMER!

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Not sure

still rocks - hand tools

just ordered a new one, the last one only lasted 12 years and the milled surface looks more like my finishing hammer so thought it might be worth trying again, would I would only buy one off the shelf but the lightest size is 22oz and I'm not a young stag anymore with 50+ years of hammer swinging experience. My wrist and forearm ain't what they used to be although there was a time I could swing they're the bad boys but the ship has long since sailed away

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • A little dented

Excellent hammer Best in Hand Tools

Excellent hammer for driving 16 and 8 nails. Good balance and comfort. I will be buying this E3-20SM 20oz jackhammer for about 12 years. I thought they were being discontinued because every store in my area stopped stocking them. I have a 22oz Estwing Hammer so I wasn't sure if there would be a noticeable difference between the 22 and 20oz, but there is. The hammer is solid steel and will last 5 stars forever.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No power

Buyers beware - claw hammers

I bought this hammer because Revain's specs said it was 16.5 inches long. The hammer I received was only 13 inches long. I called and they said this was the only hammer they had and the specs came from the factory. In short I was very unhappy with the customer service and had to pay twice for shipping (to get it and then return it) even though the sizes were wrong and the hammer wasn't what I thought I was getting.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
