All LEDs! Don't look elsewhere. There are other switches at Revain that claim to be LEDs, but turned out to be color film incandescent bulbs. I wish some people would take their stuff apart and then leave feedback more often. So I decided that I would do it so no one would have the problems I had. Every switch I've taken apart not only has an LED, but also has a current reducing resistor to keep your LED going for years! Over 30 years of electronics repair.

I have used these to turn on and off many of the LED strips I have installed in our RV. A lot of the storage spaces in our camper are quite dark, making it difficult to find things at best. Needless to say the woman is very happy with the extra light and these switches were needed to make that possible. Happy woman happy life. I would be happy to recommend them to others, especially as they are much easier to assemble compared to the square model.

I bought these to turn the headrest strips on and off and they look great! The light turns on when you turn it to the on position. They also handle 12V well, but with caution. If you've tried soldering wires to them, don't heat them for too long as the plastic at the base of the pins could start to melt and come loose. Seems good value at 50 cents (US) for the switch. Five of the switches I received were marked 20A/12VDC. The other fifteen were 16A/12VDC. The 20A switches light up with either straight or reverse polarity, which is a bit odd. The circuit/LED illuminates (closes) when the non-LED portion of the switch is depressed or in the down position. For 16A switches, the LED is polarity sensitive, which is normal. I would give them 3 stars but for the price how can you complain. This switch worked over my others, just like these. Some light does leak out at the edges of the seesaw, but that's no big deal.
