World's Stickiest Material

I found a seam on the top of my mini camper when going from a smaller to a larger size. Tired of constant leaks, I researched tapes that could seal the seams. EVERY 5-star review pointed to EternaBond. There are fake straps available for a fraction of the cost - and reviews say the strap will curl and the like which comes with a cost saving. So I figured since I spent money on the camper, I'll spend the money protecting it. It's the most STICKY rubberized sealing tape I've ever seen and it'sโ€ฆ

Fiction! best fillers, adhesives and sealants

Absolutely excellent material. I bought a 26ft trailer with some roof damage. I removed all front and side panels, tore off about 30% of the rubber roof, replaced the plywood, sealed all the joints and reattached the rubber roof with contact cement. After the roof was put back on and all the skin was properly attached I cleaned everything very well, dried well and then used this tape (with primer) on all the front, back and side edges and through each top seam of the roof. I used 2 wide stripsโ€ฆ

It's forever - what's not to like?

I'm renovating my RV this summer due to some pretty serious water damage. I may be overdoing it with Eternabond, but there's something so reassuring about how securely this tape sticks to fiberglass, painted surfaces, and rubber. Very easy to use - it's quite stiff so it's easy to control and position, it doesn't fall on itself like most bands because it's stiff enough not to... I want it. I wasn't sure if I should go for 2" or 4" but decided on 2". If it needed to be wider I put the secondโ€ฆ

Great product for serious leakage problems

I have found this tape to be an excellent solution for repairing a hole or tear in our camper van's rubber roof membrane. I have tried other gasket materials with satisfactory results. When we had a large tear at a campground after driving a trailer under a low tree limb, I used this tape to seal the gap. I was so impressed I ordered more to replace the sealant on the ends of the roof where it connects to the aluminum trim. I've had leaks in this area twice. After resealing with this tapeโ€ฆ

Mother of our dear Lord, this substance is sticky!

"On the eighth day, God enjoyed the rest and decided that man should rest too, and so he created the chariot. Knowing that the roof of the chariot would eventually leak because man created stupid enough to forget to cover his van in the scorching sun, God created EternaBond Roof Seal Tape. And God saw that it was good." - Somewhere in GenesisOK, so it's good? Want to patch small cracks in your RV's EDPM rubber cover FOREVER? Do you want that โ€“ something you can put in there and forget about itโ€ฆ

Use it on the top fillet weld

UPDATE: March 2018. Eternabond has been on my trailer for about two years now and all areas where I have applied Eternabond are holding up very well. No hacks or leaks. I've raised this rating from 4 to 5 stars because it's so convenient. I have a 1999 Northwood Nash trailer. It doesn't leak as far as I know, but I can see that some parts of the roof, particularly the front and back seams and around the front and back corners, look problematic. I have researched various ways to solve thisโ€ฆ
