Ultimate Water Purification: Ethentic Spigot Alexapure Berkey ProPur Unveiled Review

Product came without sliding pad. I don't want to go back and buy another one that is probably missing the same part, I just want a sliding washer. I don't know how to get it. Also, the part that goes through the wall is VERY short, almost too short. The washing machines they provide are cheap and leaky. I was able to use washers from my original Berkey. But I still want a spacer!

This item was described well and arrived on time. The washers that came with the spout didn't fit well on my Berkey and leaked when filling. I replaced the washers with the ones that came with the original Berkey spigot and they make a good seal. I have found that turning the faucet west to east is better than north to south. The bushing lever is tight and north-south movement tends to loosen the bushing and cause leaks.

I ordered this water level connector for my Berkey last year when all Berkey accessories were on standby due to COVID. I was very happy with it at first, but over time I started to see bits of metal on the bottom of the Burke in the treated water tank. I don't know what kind of metal they used for the nut and the inside of the socket, but it doesn't hold up to use and the metal parts are peeling off. I looked at the bottom block where the filtered water is and noticed some black cloudy areas I drained the water and saw there was white stuff on top of the blue-green nut so I cleaned it, put it back in and filled the Filter again with water. I have loved this spirit level since I installed it. What made me give a 1 star rating is the same problem everyone has with the white milky stuff produced by the metal nut. There is no way this can be guaranteed and I'm sure anyone who uses this level on a water purifier will agree with me.
