Flawless Performance

Worked for me to output video from a PC to a projector located in a room across the hall. This cable gave me a stable picture with no dropouts. Ultimately, I plan to install this cable through a false ceiling for the same application. When you buy this or any other active HDMI cable, pay close attention to the connectors. It is required that the "Source" end matches the video source and the "Display" end matches the monitor or projector. These cables are NOT bi-directional.

Good deal on cables and connectors

As many of us have moved to work from home I have had to set up monitors at my new workspace. I ordered a pair of 3" HDMI cables from C&E and a pair of 3" HDMI cables from Revain. Unfortunately the Revain cables took almost two weeks to arrive and I received them in three days. The cables were just the right length to connect my USB-C dock to my monitors, and the cables were short and didn't bother me. The plugs are firmly fixed in the plastic housing and can hardly move or loosen. I can sendโ€ฆ

waste of money. see Accessories and Consumables

I bought this HDMI cable to connect my laptop to a flat screen TV. With this particular cable that I bought, the video and audio are constantly turning on and off, causing the TV to go black more than a dozen times a minute, even when the TV, cable, and laptop are completely still. I know it's that cable. This is faulty because I used a different HDMI cable plugged into the same jacks on my TV and laptop and this cable worked fine. The video signal was never lost. I switched back to that cableโ€ฆ

Long working cable

A cable that meets our needs. I bought this cable to run from a sound booth to a projector in a multipurpose room about 40 meters away. This 50m cable was long enough and looked well made. Luckily I knew the cable was straight and tested it before installing it. The cable itself indicates which side it goes to the source and which side goes to the monitor. So far it's working fine. The only thing that bothers me is that some of the plastic elements with the logo are slipping off. As I liftedโ€ฆ

Poor reliability and no product support

Bought this 75ft TV cable in the garage. When first connected, the cable worked perfectly, good picture and connection. Three months later, no picture, no sound, nothing. The cable has not been subject to movement, bumps or damage since it was originally installed and the TV in the garage has only been used 3 or 4 times in the 3 months of cable operation. I have followed Revain's instructions to contact the manufacturer for product/warranty support, but have received no response and see nothing

  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Good but not great

Works fine and I won't move it.

I'm no expert but this cable seems to do exactly what I wanted it to do. I needed a second HDMI cable to connect 2 upscaling DVD players to the same TV (lots of HDMI ports on the TV). I stole one as it also had RCA cords and was hooked up to a new DVD player. When it arrived I connected it to the first and moved the port the other used (used for HDMI1 for one device). It works well. I don't see any difference in resolution between the two HDMI ports - both use DVD players. I've seen fromโ€ฆ

No signal doesn't mean your cable is defective (I'll explain)

I see that a lot of the negative reviews are due to this cable not carrying a signal. I originally had the same experience. I didn't think to check the cable before installing it in my walls and I was furious when I didn't get any signal from the cable after installing it. I immediately started the return process and wrote the item off as garbage. However when I bought a new HDMI cable I read several reviews where people bought active or unidirectional HDMI cables and got no signal but whenโ€ฆ
