Great for outlets

I'm setting up a wired basement for long term use. Quality TVs and a few gaming systems, and like most basements, lots of static and noise due to Wi-Fi interference. A good 8-port switch and these cables will solve most problems. The length and protection are very good. Class 8 provides static-free cable routing. (Remember to make sure the connectors and switch have shielded ports). Also, the best way is to place the network unit in a central location and run a dedicated 20 amp line to it for…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • too dull

Excellent quality, best in ethernet cables

I have 3, 6 and 10 inch versions and they are all well made and good quality. I've upgraded some older and cheaper Cat 5 and Cat5e cables and noticeably improved speed and ping. Overall, although you don't really need cat8 for anything, they are good quality, well made and insulated to reduce noise. So, at an affordable price, why not? There are a few comments about them being rigid which I don't understand, they are isolated so no you can't just stack them but they are more than flexible…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes

  • Weight

SUPERB ETHERNET CABLE - 50' CABLE

I moved my router 50ft - my wired PC speed hasn't slowed down and now my laptop, phone and doorbell cameras are 3x faster --- great cable - me it took 10 minutes to move and I added 50ft of coax cable.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Extendable

Connectors won't snap or fit well

I used to buy great ethernet cables from Revain (my favorite is VANDESAIL CAT7 RJ45 50ft network cable; works great and is durable). I bought a second Vandesail, 25ft, as a backup. Tested but never used because the 50ft has never let me down. My son was starting college and needed ethernet cables at the last minute. I made the mistake of ordering from different brands based on the shipping date. One was (not of that brand) 30ft which was nowhere near 30ft round trip but this is the worst…

Good cable - computer accessories and peripherals

Good product. I ordered a different brand of Category 8 cable and it actually slowed down my speeds that I was getting with the older Category 7 cable. This immediately increased my load significantly.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • No instructions

Great cable for high speed

For those who rely on internet speed for competitive gaming, choosing the right LAN cable can mean win or lose. This cable improves your online gameplay when using a router and guarantees success in winning online gameplay (if you are skilled enough). I would recommend it.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some little things

Refurbished our home network

Okay, I'm a network engineer in the field so I have a little knowledge of that. In particular, I don't technically rate anything 5 stars unless it performs well above the standard. It's very good, and it's a standard link element, so it's a backbone medium. They have gold-plated connectors and operate at higher than standard power, to which they conform. There's also a lot of money, so it's really not much to ask for. I've installed them into an ASUS RT-AX88U 8-port WiFi router with AT&T fiber,

Pros
  • 🔌High Speed Ethernet Cable: Cat 8 Ethernet cable supports up to 2000MHz bandwidth and 40Gbps data rate. 26 AWG cables are suitable for high-speed indoor and outdoor use without worrying about tangles.
Cons
  • Only available in black
