My Pomeranian doesn't use it to tell me when she needs to go potty but it seems like a good product. She's not really the type to respond to typical "training" actions, but she finds her own way of telling me when she needs to go out ;) If your dog is easy to train or you have the patience to train him teaching how to do that, that's what I would suggest. It's still hanging on my door and is cute, if a little useless to me!

DANGEROUS goods, should be recalled! Shitzu, 7, chewed on bluebells on day one, holding one in her mouth and almost swallowing. VERY DANGEROUS! I don't have to send it back. I would give it 5 stars except the instructions on the label are a bit simplified. I recommend searching Google for articles on the best way to teach your dog to ring a bell to announce it's time. For the pug owner who gave this product a bad review, just don't waste time training your dog, no ifs or buts. It is rewarding and fun to watch your dog learn this.
