The pair I bought have these white lines that won't go away. It looks like glue marks or something, but no matter how many times I polish or wash them, they keep coming back. Now the felt trim is wearing off and the shoes already look worn.

The pictures definitely don't show this as they don't show that this is a winter shoe rather than a summer shoe. But anyway I still love them because I can wear them in winter. They have a 3M liner that helps in winter and I'm very impressed with that.

These nice little shoes came to me from Germany to keep my feet warm. My old canvas shoes kept me wet in winter. Could have used a little more padding on the upper. But I'll try another pair of socks and wear them a little longer before I complain too much about the toe pain. Besides, they look good.

I am satisfied with this shoe. I haven't had a pair of Etnies in about 20 years. I remember they were very comfortable from the start and they are. It doesn't look like they need a break at all. Some say Etnies are small, but at 10.5, they're spot on. They are also quite wide. The only thing that confuses me is the tread pattern, they tend to pick up a lot of small rocks. Overall, I'm glad I chose them for my work shoes.
