i just wanted hardware

to be honest all i wanted were actuator rods and connectors but at this price it was cheaper to buy this kit and only use what i need.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • expensive

Tailgate Latch for only $25

I installed one of these in the back door of my 2016 Tacoma. I routed extra wires to the release wires for the passenger locks in the cockpit. Lasted a week. Bangs louder than factory door locks but thematically let me know it works.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Better than $250 Ford Rear Emergency Exit Latch

Ford in their infinite wisdom decided to only make the latch actuator assembly - jerks! I used this $7 part and it works great. I'll just have to get creative with the installation - have yet to figure it out - but my tailgate closes and opens!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • There are flaws

Poor Quality Door Operators, Don't Buy

You get what you pay for. Seems like a good price. However, they started making noise and after a couple of weeks they stopped working. Remember that it takes a long time to remove all the door panels and hardware to get to them. So spend a few bucks more so you don't have to take your car apart again.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

Good all-purpose drive.

This was a great find. Easy to use in multiple ways. Can be used to power manual locks or to supplement existing electric locks that have become weak or no longer working. I used to help factory electric locks work better after they started not locking and unlocking the door fully. I saved a few hundred by buying them instead of original parts.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Works for me for motors

These are general purpose magnets that are easy to install for anyone with basic mechanical skills. Actual use determines suitability. I paired it with a cheap Revain Qook keyless entry system. That's perfect, you can't build anything that cheap for $17. They were installed on a 2004 F-150 Heritage and only took a few minutes to complete each door. The wiring system is simple, just run a few wires and find the wires to flash your turn signals when locking or unlocking. It works even if you…

Great Price - Motors

Great Price πŸ‘ Wish the rods were longer. On my Tacoma I needed about 3 times as long poles. I wish they would have sold longer poles. The clips that come with it are very good, but they're huge when trying to fit them into an area as limited as between a door frame and trim. I ended up using RC rods from a hobby store. These rods are used to connect servos to aircraft surfaces. The Tacoma uses cables, not poles, so you'll need a pole that runs from the manual latch to the bottom corner, where…
