Seems very well made

My Craftsman 10 - 150 Ft Lb torque wrench (1 year warranty) broke and fell apart after only 2 years of light use. I used it primarily to check and tighten the special box bolts for my fifth wheel bolts on average once a month while traveling. It appeared to be well made, but it turned out that the ratchet relied on a cap screw that was too small in diameter. It broke, causing the rest of the head to fall out. This was impossible to fix as the end of the screw was permanently stuck in the…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I really don't like it, everything is fine

First review! in Torque Wrench

So here is my first review of this torque wrench. So I work at a dealership and do a lot of tire spins, brakes, etc. I've tried various torque wrenches from friends who bought them at big department stores and expensive truck torque wrenches. So I settled on this one and yes to be honest I've never heard of this brand before but it seems like a good fit. Well, I received the torque wrench today, it looked good and of normal quality, seems heavy, quite heavy. Torque adjustment is easy and fixed…

Pros
  • Weight
Cons

It's too thick to be used in tight spaces

I was very pleased to receive this new model of torque wrench. And out of the box, it's pretty neat. But once I really started working on my car, its flaws became all too apparent. And I'm not a fan anymore. First the advantages: It is really easy to read and set torque values. This is a very good feature. The handle is comfortable and comfortable. And when it clicks, you can feel the pull. Now for the cons: This thing is TERRIBLE in a small space. The head and neck are too thick. Most snap-on…

Pros
  • Few competitors

FEEL GREAT QUALITY!

Just received today. I've already read the instructions the company boss emailed me. I scrolled it up the scale from bottom to top and tested the "Push/Pull" blocking, everything worked smoothly. I took it to the shop where my 2000 Mustang GT was patiently waiting and gradually began tightening the main wheel bearing hubs to 220 ft/lbs. I started at 80 ft/lbs, click, then 100, click, then 150, click, then 190, click, then I adjusted both nuts to 220 ft/lbs. click! I might have to grab a few…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are new competitors

I agree "Meh " for power tools and hand tools

I was very pleased with this new torque wrench model. And out of the box, it's pretty neat. But once I really started working on my car, its flaws became all too apparent. And I'm not a fan anymore. First the advantages: It is really easy to read and set torque values. This is a very good feature. The handle is comfortable and comfortable. And when it clicks, the thrust decreases noticeably. It's quite long and easily delivers plenty of torque at higher torque settings. This is a disadvantage…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other alternatives
