My favorite headphones!

I really love these headphones. I've had a pair for about a year now and recently bought a second pair so I can have one at work and one at home. I'm a huge music lover - I listen, play and play rock music regularly and occasionally record both in the studio and at home. I really prefer a flat frequency response in my headphones and I hate the trend for extra bass in most modern headphones. My favorite flat-firing in-ear headphones are the Sony MDR V6 and they sound very similar - very clear…

noise isolation. CHECK OVER!

Sound insulation is no joke. Noise isolation versus noise reduction. etymotic is all about the headphones. I put these sponges in my ear and hear almost nothing of my surroundings. I make music and I'm not kidding, nothing can compare to music. I do warn you though, if you've developed a tolerance for loud music in headphones, you'll need to get used to these relatively underpowered headphones. once you pass it; Get ready to enjoy every beat of your music over and over again. I discovered new…

I miss the ER6i

I've had about 5 pairs of Etymotic ER6i and they've all suffered various kinds of deaths from being run over, washed in the washing machine, eaten by pets and the last pair, plug failure (poor discharge design from voltage ). This wasn't the first pair to self-destruct in this manner, although I was certainly disappointed not only by my bad luck but also by the ER6i's design flaws. I think Etymotic really tried to solve these problems with MC5. They seem to have more bass than the previous…

Amazing and perfect.

It's hard for me to say something perfect, but I got it and I don't regret it. Obviously perfection is always subjective and this review was written to explain why I think it's perfect. To put it simply: I find it perfect because I no longer expect anything for the price I paid and most of my expectations have been far exceeded even after 6 months. The build quality is superb, as befits expensive (to me) headphones. I liked that they come with lots of interchangeable inserts, although the 3-ply

Finally! I love these headphones!

I've been looking for a long, long time for quality in-ear headphones that will drown out the noise of my gym and sometimes office. After several unsuccessful purchases from other brands, I'm really happy with these headphones and I highly recommend them. I mainly use them at the gym where others have said that the noise from Miley, Justin and Celine just doesn't motivate me. working harder. And like others, I've learned the hard way that most headphones do very little to block that noise…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Minor issues

Finally something that fits my ears well. If you have a small ear canal this is for you. I would even prefer a slightly slimmer fit. The level of detail in the sound reproduction is simply outstanding. The noise insulation is excellent. In fact, I would *not* recommend wearing them if you're caring for young children or doing anything that requires you to be aware of external noise occasionally. They insulate very well (I think it has to do with the fit and design to really fit the ear). I…
