overtones? What are the overtones?

These things are amazing! For less than $10 you'll get rid of the overtones. I've used tape, moon gel, and a few other homemade products, but nothing works better than these rings. I play a lot of hard rock, but my favorite music is rush. As I understand it, Neil Peart is God on drums. But I often found myself unable to hear the ins and outs of each part or part I played because of the overtones. And let's face it - a person has to play accurately to play along with Rush. Great product to get rid of the "ringing " in drums!

After hearing a lot of positive feedback on this product for eliminating overtones and ringing from toms, I decided to give it a try. If you want your drums to sound professional, this is the Sound Good Sauce you've been waiting for. If you're a beginner like me, here are 3 things you need to do to get your drums sounding professional: 1) buy good quality heads for each drum, 2) go to YouTube and learn how to tune them, and 3) buy these things and put them on top. My god it was so…

Love them because they eliminate annoying 'ringing'

After trying to mute and tune my toms and snare for about a month to get rid of the annoying slightly noticeable ringing. I couldn't resist and tried them out. And immediately .gone. With a bit of support I have an intermediate level Ludwig 5 piece kit, nothing special but for an intermediate drummer with 20 years of experience it's ok for me. I switched to a regular acoustic kit after years of playing mostly high end Alesis electronic kits. I now know pretty well how to build an acoustic kit…
