Evelots Headboard Reading Light Shade Review

Only sufficient sledge lamp I could find. Works as advertised. I wish the hooks were bigger or adjustable because the hooks are too small and narrow to hang well on my sled and the bulb is visible from the smaller lampshade. This works better with a narrower, smaller bed.

I used to have an old model from the 50's and it scratched my headboard because it was moving every time it was switched on and off . It has plastic guards to prevent this and is very easy to turn on and off without having to tug on it. I liked it so much that I immediately bought a second one for my new bed.

Bought this for my mum who was almost bedridden. She liked it very much. It was easy to use, placed right on top of her headboard (it was that black round metal tube you see a lot), and the light was just perfect for her. It was one of her favorite pastimes. Although the headboard was rounded in the middle, there was still enough space for the lighting. I highly recommend this product.

I like this product but I am disappointed with its quality. The first order I received was hunched over like it was stuffed in a box. The next one came today, and there is glue on the lampshade, and the lampshade is all wrinkled and crumpled. Instead of sending it back I decided to keep it for myself for fear that the next one might be defective as well. If I really didn't need it, I would just send it back. Really disappointed!

The previous model of this model had a problem for two years. The bulb holding part is poorly designed and/or designed to fail over time. All it is is a bent piece of U-shaped hanging wire that the bulb is attached to with a screw that bolts it tightly to the wire. Over time this will weaken and fail. Well I took some wire from a coat hanger and created a solid support and support for this part of the lightbulb. My own design. Send me $50,000. and I'll show you what I've done.
