BUY IT TO DEFROST FROZEN FOOD YOU WILL BE SHOCKED I WAS

Thought it was a product that would come back as a fake. To my surprise it only works now, but it works so efficiently and quickly. Did a test on ice first, one on this and one on a plate. Well, this slab melted the ice in seconds, not at all.

Not as best described in Cookware Accessories

Was so pleased to be honest with high expectations. . The hardest part was working with Revane after his return. The product was terribly flimsy and not remotely worth the money. One leg was half broken and had large dents. so disappointed because i was really looking forward to using it. And now, almost November, not a word is heard from the company.

Not for me! good for kitchen accessories

To be honest I haven't thought about this purchase! It helps to thaw the meat, but if I forget to thaw the meat it has to thaw immediately or very close to it. It will take several more hours. So if you want to take the meat out in the morning and put it on it a few hours before cooking, I would recommend you to buy it. If you work all day and a few hours isn't an option, don't worry.

WHAT A JOKE is good for the kitchen and dining room

This defrosting dish simply DOES NOT do the job of properly defrosting meat! I have an old, weathered, mostly unpainted defrost pan that I was hoping to replace with this one, but when it arrived I was shocked at the poor quality of this item. It's almost paper thin, has ZERO defrosting ability and I had to revive my OLD defrost tray to do the job that this POORLY designed tray couldn't do! DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! I already threw it away IT'S SO BAD!

Excellent defroster best in kitchen and dining room

I was very afraid it would work but after reading some reviews I decided to give it a try. I have a lot of frozen meat and can't possibly thaw it in time for lunch. Today I tried. I placed a frozen wrapped steak on a tray and it completely thawed in about an hour. It would take me over 5 hours to thaw this. I used to leave steaks in the sink, and when I got back to work at 12pm, came back at 4am, they were still frozen inside. Haven't used it with a few items in the tray yet, but so far it'sโ€ฆ

Not working for me

I really wanted this to work and was impressed by all the positive feedback, but unfortunately it didn't work. I checked it twice. Baby ribs for the first time. I put a rack on the counter and one on the defrosting dish. Both took a very long time to defrost and the same amount of time. Then I decided to try again with two chicken breasts. I put them both on a tray on my counter (room temp 74 degrees) and after two hours they were still almost completely frozen. I don't think I did anythingโ€ฆ

Understand how it works and you will buy it, especially at this price point.

I like to cook, but I don't like to plan ahead. I usually get cravings or the family has a late request that requires a last minute defrosting of meat that we have frozen in the fridge (yes, we buy meat in bulk from Costco and freeze it, which saves a ton of money ). I was skeptical. So I decided to do a little Google research. It turns out to be pretty easy. The tray is made of metal, which transfers heat very efficiently. When hot and cold objects touch they want to be the same temperatureโ€ฆ
