The bulbs are miswired for negative ground vehicles which means they will not work on modern US (or foreign) vehicles. They are not advertised as replacement bulbs for automotive applications. Do not buy.

Worked great in my dash for about 1 month then started flickering. First check the grounding and cable connections. Replaced the lightbulb and it worked fine again for about a month. Worked through a pack of 20 in both my car and truck. Same story on both machines.

These lights work amazing! They give even light from both the side and the front, even light over 180 degrees. I bought red for my CJ7 dash, they fit perfectly and shine straight up. The polarity is correct. They are plug and play. Have no problems with it and would buy more.

I ordered it for use in the instrument cluster. At first they looked great. After a week of use, more than half of them began to flicker intermittently. Since the previously installed white light bulbs did not flicker at all over the years of use, the problem seems to lie precisely with them. I only had LEDs one day, but I wanted to help people. The center is positive and the body is grounded. Turns out my car had the polarity reversed, so I opened up the LED and swapped the wires inside. The LED went to the installation and immediately lit up. So if your lightbulbs aren't working, chances are that's your problem. It also turned out that white LEDs can be made blue by removing the yellow plastic on top. Below is a photo of the LED with the plastic removed.
