Drain diverter on faucets

My drain pump needed a drain. I use this to prevent the water from splashing everywhere. Works great, catching splashes and directing them down.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Excellent solution for different size dust collectors

Very useful when connecting different size dust collectors. I found the hard plastic adapters didn't quite fit, which is frustrating. Since they are made of rubber and can be adjusted with snail tensioners, you can adjust them perfectly. I wouldn't bother with hard plastic adapters unless they are made by the same company as your woodworking power tool.

Pros
  • Tube fittings
Cons
  • Very expensive

Not 1 1/2 inches. But that's what's stamped on it

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think the hole should be 1 3/4 inch and should be able to accommodate that size pipe, when advertised as hole 1 1/2 inch. The 3 inch side seems closer to 3 inches. If you look at my photo you will see that I had to overtighten the yoke for quite a large portion of its length. I mean the rubber plays pretty well since it had to squeeze quite a bit to get the 1 1/2" tube to seal. It works but I was hoping to play around a bit, not literally add an extra 1/4 inch…

Pros
  • Hydraulics, Pneumatics & Plumbing
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled
