This battery worked well but was very fragile. I can't say anything about the quality and reliability because I wasn't able to use it outside of the test. The plastic shattered at the contact end after falling two feet onto the carpet in my apartment. Absolutely useless. A battery that is suitable for headlights is expected to be reasonably strong and long-lasting. nope What a waste of money.

A few months later, my mother's flashlight battery died. It must have been a very old battery. Unfortunately, she didn't tell me until the flashlight she uses on her walker at night ran out of power. It seems a lot of the negative reviews are because it didn't work. I've bought 6v batteries from several other well known brands with similar ratings and was surprised that some people didn't realize they had to remove the plastic cap from the center spring contact... so make sure it's off before using they throw in the flashlight. I don't really like them but if I can get them for around $5 I think it's a steal compared to what they want in home centers. I've converted a few flashlights to use
