Not an easy assembly. Not worth the money.

Assembly should be much easier and clearly marked. A 5-6 year old needs an adult to do most if not all of the work. The thin plastic rods have to go into a very specific and poorly marked hole on the ball joints. You can only build a few small forts with 1 kit, and to build bigger forts you need at least 2. We almost never use it because it's not easy to build and the time it takes playing an hour, is not worth.

Easily one of the best toys I have bought for my 4 year old

AMAZING>>>>> I suggest you buy Green Life All Weather Blankets. They are lightweight and have loops on each corner which are perfect for the rods in this set. Easily one of the best toys I've bought for my 4 year old. Incredibly creative. Although I suggest you buy at least 2 sets. I would buy more, only my VA disability fixed income keeps me from being frivolous. So thank you for this product.

Interesting product, need more than 1 box!

My kids love this toy! I originally bought two boxes after reading other reviews, but for 3 children (12, 8 and 5 years old) it wasn't enough and I ordered another one. I really could order 4 total but will see if they continue to play with them regularly beforehand. You can make many configurations and I like that you can't put everything together in 5 minutes, you have to keep trying different things and see what works. The light panels look great on top and the lights you can get for this…

Girls love playing sports and outdoors

I found a used box of these toys at a thrift store and my girls (5 and 8 years old) love them. Even without all 25 balls (and probably not all racquets) they were able to build a fort big enough for two to sleep in while camping in the living room. I love that this product has inspired many creative creations with other items in the living room to create endless combinations. I loved this item so much that I ended up buying another set of Revain for her. I know other reviewers have said it's…

Fun for kids AND adults

I ordered 2 sets for my 4 and 6 year old boys and got them for my 4 year old's birthday. Although he can't get them together the 6 year old has no problem with that and they were a life saver that day on a rainy day! The kids played with it for hours and the next morning it was the first thing they wanted to do when they woke up. I mainly used the sheets to cover the structures as the heavy blankets could add too much weight to our tall buildings and the balls don't really glow so I could save…

Clubhouses and tunnels

The toy was bought for a 5 year old grandson. He can stick chopsticks into plastic balls and create structures, but he can't assemble them without adult help. I'm sure the older kid can handle it on their own. Another reason why an adult needs help is that it takes time to complete any of the proposed structures (igloo, airlock, tunnel) and when the child is done, they will get tired of the activity. If you really want your child to have fun, make the build after the child has gone to bed and…

Quality changed, not compatible with the old version

We ordered a set of glow in the dark Crazy Forts 18 months ago and ordered a second set so we can create larger builds. When the set arrived we were happy to see that it was the exact same box as the old one. Literally no difference in the box between new and old. However, when we opened the box and looked at the parts, they were a little different. The balls have a more yellowish hue and the rods are even lighter green. In addition, the dimensions have changed very slightly, but enough that…

Brilliant! Very fun and exciting for kids and parents

It's a lot of fun and the glow in the dark version costs a few bucks more. This toy encourages my son's gross motor skills as well as his ability to interpret diagrams and follow instructions, and the pre-made forts are great fun to use. I appreciate the opportunity to continue the Fortress tradition on a Saturday morning in the living room without my kitchen chairs scraping the floor to support the sheets. As a former math teacher I can say that they are also great for teaching the concepts of
